Bring your group to the Lightning Ranch for your customized day of Cowboy Fun!  Take advantage of all our facilities and horseback rides.  We can arrange entertainment and cowboy meals.  Just tell us what you would like and we can arrange it.  Choose to listen to a country singer, give your children a pony ride, roast marshmallows over an open fire.  How about watching a trick roper, then trying your own roping skills while the meat sizzles on the pit?  If you want to learn the Texas two-step, we can teach you that too!

COWBOY SOCIAL

Celebrate under the star-drenched Texas sky
at our open-air Pavilion at the Ranch!

Campfire Social: (one hour maximum) Relax around the fire with iced washtubs full of Texas  beer including Lone Star and Lone Star Light while munching on corn tortilla chips and fresh pico de gallo.

Cowboy Singer: Entertainment featuring Authentic Western Ballads

High Diving Aqua Mules: The world's only diving mules can be added for special events.

 

Trick Roper: Enjoy the expertise and humor of world famous trick roper Kevin Fitzpatrick.

Hill Country BBQ Buffet: Barbequed beef brisket, grilled chicken breast with cranberry-jalapeno chutney, grilled beef sausage links, BBQ sauce, borracho beans, potato salad, homemade bread, peach cobbler, sliced onions, polish dill pickle spikes and jalopenos. (Coffee and Iced Tea)

 

NIGHT IN OLD MEXICO

Savor the festive food and sounds of a Mexican “Fiesta”!

Mariachi Reception: (one hour maximum) entertainment featuring a Mariachi Band in traditional costume, Mexican specialty beers, frozen margaritas (you supply the tequila) and complimented with Cook’s Choice selection of Southwestern hors d’oeurves.

Sizzling Chicken and Beef Fajita Bar: Marinated & grilled chicken and skirt steak strips served with peppers & onions, warm flour tortillas, salsa picante, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, borracho beans, Spanish rice, Mexican gazpacho and flan for dessert. (Coffee & Iced Tea) $48.00 PER PERSON

 

RIDING THE TRAIL

Hill Country Ride: If you came to Texas and want to ride…we’ll take you on a scenic horseback ride to our “Ghost Town” where we’ll serve you a “Saddle Bag” lunch consisting of hoagie cold cut sandwich with all the trimmings.

(Rides restricted to 12 riders at a time)

 

$37.50 per person (For a longer ride and/or BBQ lunch call for quote)

 

OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS

Let’s Go to the Rodeo: Let us give you a taste of the real west with our rodeo.  Try your hand at “ropin” or just sit back and enjoy the show while we rope, team pen, barrel racing and bull riding.  Mutton bustin' for the kids!

Rodeos are held during the summer season.

Add Western Dance Band to any event @ $500. 

Theme Party Packages are subject to 15% service charge and appropriate taxes.
